We are seeking an Assistant Accountant for a growing business just outside of Hedge End. They have grown to a point that the Group Finance Manager needs an Assistant Accountant to assist with transactional duties, reconciliations, and support the month-end processes.


This role will start off as an all-round transactional role with duties assisting the month-end close and reporting processes. Over time, as the individual grows in experience, the ideal next step for the business would be for them to start taking some ownership for the month-end close.


The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with at least three years of experience within an all-round, varied transactional role, and has completed AAT or is near the very end of the qualification.


The client is happy to support someone’s further studies in ACCA or CIMA. If someone is actively studying one of these qualifications, that will also be fine and will be fully funded and supported.
