Newstaff Employment Services is seeking dedicated HGV 1 Drivers for both day and night shifts in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe transportation of goods in compliance with all relevant regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients. As a vital part of our logistics team, you will ensure that deliveries are made on time and that our customers receive their products in perfect condition.

Responsibilities *Drive HGV 1 vehicles efficiently during scheduled day and night shifts.
*Perform pre- and post-trip checks on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
*Keep accurate delivery logs and maintain communication with dispatch and customers.
*Load and unload cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
*Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
*Handle any delivery issues or alterations in schedules professionally and effectively.
Requirements
*Valid HGV 1 (Class 1) driving license.
*Proven experience as an HGV 1 Driver with preference for day and night driving.
*Solid understanding of driving regulations and compliance requirements.
*Exceptional driving record demonstrating a commitment to safety.
*Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
*Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities.
*Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
