A well-established contractor operating within the utilities and infrastructure sector is seeking a Business Support Administrator to support its growing operational team. The company works on a range of essential utility connection and infrastructure projects and is looking for a highly organised individual to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
The Operations Administrator will support Directors and the wider operations team with day-to-day project and business administration, including:
*Managing and submitting Section 50 and TTRO applications
*Coordinating traffic management plans and arranging site requirements
*Liaising with clients regarding upcoming works and project scheduling
*Handling parking suspension applications
*Ordering materials and managing site supplies, including traffic management requirements
*Maintaining internal trackers for site operative whereabouts and project updates
*Keeping records of operative qualifications, training, and renewal dates
*Booking training courses and managing compliance documentation
*Supporting PQQ submissions and general business documentation
*Providing wider administrative support across the business
*(Depending on experience) assisting with light finance administration such as invoicing coordination
This role suits someone who enjoys being the go-to person and ensuring everything behind the scenes runs efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
*Strong administrative experience, preferably within construction, utilities, engineering, or infrastructure
*Highly organised with excellent multitasking ability
*Confident communicator able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
*Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
*Enjoys working in a smaller, flexible business with a hands-on approach
*Proficient in Excel, Word, and general business systems
What’s on Offer
*£28,000–£35,000 depending on experience
*25 days holiday + bank holidays
*37.5-hour week with flexible working hours (8–4:30 or 8:30–5)
