Do you have experience as a TIG Welder?
Are you working with Aluminium and can weld from 0.5mm up to 10mm?
We are recruiting a Welder/Machine Operator to join the team.
The Welder should have a good understanding of TIG welding up to 10mm,
In return, we are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 13:00 finish on a Friday, Christmas shut down.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 13:00
Reporting to the Shop Floor Manager your responsibilities will include:
*Welding different thicknesses from 1mm to 10mm, from punctured and formed parts (aluminium to galv)
*To use the Guillotine and roll former when required
*To be able to set up all of the machines under the supervision of the Machine Operator/Setter
The ideal candidate:
*Ability to read and interpret drawings (3rd angle drawings).
*Experience in setting and operating CNC break Presses
*Experience of using Production Machines and setting.
*Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
