Job Summary:

As a Quality Engineer at JPMorganChase in our team, you will champion continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will work closely with the Senior Quality Engineering Lead to identify and remove inefficiencies in quality processes throughout the SDLC. You will apply Lean Six Sigma methods, coordinate production testing, and drive impactful improvement projects with cross-functional partners. Your efforts will help foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and measurable results.
Job Responsibilities:
*Partner with the Senior Quality Engineering Lead to map end-to-end quality processes and prioritize improvement opportunities
*Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools and track benefits and sustainment plans
*Coordinate production testing activities with product and engineering teams, including test schedules and defect triage
*Maintain clear reporting on product acceptance progress and consolidate metrics for stakeholders
*Facilitate cross-functional workshops and kaizen events to align teams on root causes and countermeasures
*Define and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to articulate actions and outcomes
*Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, playbooks, and sharing best practices
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
*Knowledge and experience applying Lean or continuous improvement methods to software or technology product processes
*Ability to map processes, identify bottlenecks, and eliminate non-value-add activities
*Strong analytical skills to quantify problems, define baselines, and measure improvements
*Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across global teams
*Comfort operating in agile, fast-paced environments with a proactive, self-directed approach
*Proficiency with collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Excel/Sheets; familiarity with defect and test management concepts
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
*Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow or Green Belt preferred) or equivalent practical expertise
*Experience with basic statistical analysis for continuous improvement using approved tools
*Exposure to process mining or workflow analytics using internally approved solutions
*Experience standardizing operating procedures and implementing control plans to sustain gains
