We’re partnering with a well established manufacturing organisation based in Brighton who are looking for a Buyer who can hit the ground running and keep production moving smoothly. If you enjoy problem solving, supplier engagement, and making a real difference in daily operations, this role is for you.
Duties will include:
*Owning vendor relationships to drive on-time delivery, competitive pricing, quality performance, and effective issue resolution.
*Monitoring and managing supply chain risks, market challenges, lead times, obsolescence, and order quantities.
*Supporting New Product Implementation, ensuring materials and suppliers are aligned with project timelines.
*Driving inventory and cost improvements, reducing overstock, managing obsolete items, and delivering cost-saving projects.
This is a temporary role working full time on site in Brighton with an immediate start.
Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Supply Chain support role is essential. Experience working in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferred.
