Reed Education are working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Croydon to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a permanent position starting this September.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher who can deliver engaging learning experiences and confidently support pupils through their final year of primary school. You will play a key role in preparing children for SATs and their transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
*Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments
*Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for support
*Maintain a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
*Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families
*Contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities
What We Are Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*A reflective, committed practitioner passionate about pupil achievement
*Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
