Warehouse Operative


Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
Pay: £12.84 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (30-minute lunch)
Location: Livingston, EH54 8TE - Fully office based


We are recruiting on behalf of a leading records management company that supports businesses with the secure storage, management, protection and handling of physical and digital records and documents.
*Document & records storage – secure, purpose-built facilities for business records, files, wills and deeds
*Document scanning & digitisation – converting paper files into digital formats for easier access and management
*Secure shredding & destruction - confidential disposal of sensitive documents in line with data protection requirements


Key Responsibilities:
* Picking and moving boxes containing important documents
* Scanning boxes for delivery and loading them onto pallets
* Moving boxes around a large warehouse environment
* Supporting a large-scale project within the warehouse
* Wrapping pallets prior to collection and transportation
*Occasionally driving van


Skills & Requirements :
* Excellent attention to detail
* Previous manual handling experience
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Disclosure check will be carried out
*Forklift licence preferred but not essential
