Job Description:
Location: Torbay Area
Salary: Negotiable
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to take responsibility for coordinating the operation and maintenance of facilities and fleet across a local business based in the Torbay area.
You’ll coordinate maintenance activities, support compliance with legal and health & safety requirements, and work closely with operational teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure health & safety and legal compliance across facilities, plant yard, and commercial fleet are met
*Coordinate scheduled inspections, statutory checks, repairs and maintenance within the business
*Liaise with contractors and manage service and utility contracts
*Support operational teams and project groups by providing facilities coordination
*Produce and manage budget reports & support the project teams
*Organising company fleet compliance, ensuring vehicles are safe, insured and maintained
*Administration support, keeping documents up to date and
About You:
*Ideally similar operational, facilities experience
*Worked within a coordinating/Administration role previously
*Ability to manage contractors, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues quickly.
*Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
*Good communication skills
*GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
*Full, valid UK driving licence.
