Manufacturing Engineer
Basic Salary £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Benefits Package

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer looking for the opportunity to lead high-impact engineering projects that optimise production, introduce new products, and drive continuous improvement within a well-established manufacturing environment?



On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established and highly respected engineering manufacturer, where you will play a key role in supporting production through technical leadership, manufacturing innovation, and process improvement initiatives.




In this senior position, you will take ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI), capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives (including lean manufacturing), working cross-functionally with production, quality, safety and supply chain teams. You will lead manufacturing solutions from concept through to implementation, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality results and robust documentation.

This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer looking to step into a senior-level position, or an Senior Engineer seeking a role with strong ownership of manufacturing development NPI, and CI projects.




The Role:
*Lead manufacturing and capital improvement projects from concept through to implementation and commissioning. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for NCRs and production issues
*Take ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production including lean manufacturing.

The Person:
*Manufacturing Engineer, HNC/HND qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
*understanding of ISO 9001, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing
*Experience leading manufacturing projects, NPI and CI
