Site Manager - Commercial Cleaning (Birmingham Corporate Offices)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead cleaning operations for premium corporate office spaces in Birmingham. In this role, you will oversee on-site teams to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and develop cleaning teams to ensure effective performance.
• Manage daily operations, conduct quality inspections, and perform client walkthroughs.
• Oversee staff rotas, attendance, performance management, and training (including health & safety, COSHH, and infection control).
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, relevant legislation, and company policies, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Liaise with clients, handle feedback, and resolve any escalations to maintain strong relationships.
• Manage stock, supplies, equipment, budgets, and waste reduction efforts.
• Support continuous improvement, audits, KPI tracking, and reporting.
• Assist with recruitment, inductions, and disciplinary processes when required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager in commercial cleaning or soft facilities management, preferably in office or corporate environments.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations, COSHH, and cleaning best practices.
• Good communication skills for client interactions and problem-solving.
• Organised, proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
