Role - Financial Controller Location - Cheadle Salary - Between £68,000 and £75,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are exclusively recruiting for a rapidly growing and profitable SME energy business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Cheadle based office on a hybrid model - 3 days in the office 2 from home.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and display a blend of core accounting and commercial finance skills. The Financial Controller role is a new position and will be a stand-alone role initially before recruiting a finance team as the business continues to grow. The ability to build relationships throughout an organisation is essential and the Financial Controller will need to be ’hands on’ and have a background in improving process and reporting. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
*Full production of the monthly management accounts
*Preparation of the group reporting pack
*Management of the external audit process and production of statutory accounts
*Lead on all budgeting and forecasting
*Cashflow forecasting
*Look to improve the internal controls and processes within the organisation
*Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
*Recruitment and development of a wider finance team
*Ad-hoc project work
Salary for the role is anywhere between £68,000 and £75,000 + benefits
