Oxford | Hybrid Working (1 Day per Week in London)

A Chambers-ranked law firm with offices across London, the South West, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire is seeking an Employment Solicitor / Associate (NQ-3+ PQE) to join its expanding Employment Law team in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department within a respected and growing practice, advising clients across a broad range of sectors on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of respondent and claimant employment matters, supporting businesses across multiple sectors while developing strong client relationships.
Your work will include:
*Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law issues
*Managing Employment Tribunal claims and litigation
*Providing day-to-day employment advice on disciplinary and grievance matters
*Advising on sickness absence, performance management and workplace disputes
*Supporting clients with redundancy programmes and restructures
*Advising on TUPE transfers
*Providing corporate employment support during business transactions
*Building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality legal advice
The team works with clients across sectors including financial services, healthcare, recruitment, publishing, media, IT, hospitality, manufacturing, retail and professional services.

Candidate Profile
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
*Are UK qualified Solicitors (NQ - 3+ years PQE)
*Have experience in employment law within a recognised employment practice
*Are confident handling employment tribunal matters and advisory work
*Possess strong legal drafting, negotiation and client management skills
*Have excellent academic credentials
*Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
