Digital Product Owner Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, minimum 2 days a week in office)

We’re now looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to take ownership of our omni-channel food ordering platform. This is a high-profile role where you’ll work with cross-functional teams, both in the UK and overseas, to deliver innovative features, integrations, and user experiences that delight our customers and support our strategic roadmap.
What you’ll be doing * Own, refine, and prioritise the product backlog to align with business strategy.
* Partner with development and QA teams (including offshore teams) to ensure features are delivered on time, to specification, and with quality.
* Act as the voice of the customer — translating feedback and insights into actionable user stories and product improvements.
* Support smooth product releases and post-launch validation, using feedback to continuously iterate.
* Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, show & tells) and promote best practice across teams.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, support teams, and Compass leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
* Drive integrations by ensuring requirements are clearly understood and embedded within delivery.
What we’re looking for * Proven experience (5+ years) as a Digital Product Owner or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, backlog management, and DevOps practices.
* Experience working with APIs, integrations, and multi-platform solutions.
* Hands-on understanding of Azure DevOps and software delivery processes.
* Skilled at managing offshore/distributed teams and mentoring junior product colleagues.
* Excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and a passion for delivering value through technology.
