Job Description:
Sharp Consultancy are supporting a business in Leeds through a very exciting period of growth currently have a fantastic temporary Finance Assistant role they are recruiting to report directly into the FC. This is an all-encompassing position covering all areas of transactional finance through to assistant with month end procedures.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
*Purchase Ledger control.
*Matching, batching, coding invoices via Xero.
*Running payments runs.
*Assist in the payroll processing via use of Bright Pay.
*Fixed asset reconciliations.
*Bank reconciliations.
*Expenses management.
*Calculations of monthly accruals.
*Assist with month end procedures.
*Any additional duties as needed by the FC.
This role will suit individuals who have the following skills and experiences:
*Previous practical use of Xero accounting software.
*Prior experience in a similar fully rounded accounts role including purchase ledger, accruals and bank reconciliation processes.
*Good understanding and proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
*General understanding of payroll processes.
*Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information.
*Be comfortable working under their own steam remotely and generally self-motivated.
*Be motivated by working in a fast-paced environment with lots of room for development.
