Job Title: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) - Manchester Area
Location: Manchester
Start: ASAP | Full-Time (Monday-Friday) | Salary: £106-£120 per day (depending on experience)
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Unqualified SEN TA to join a school in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. Child experience is desirable but not essential - transferable skills from mentoring, coaching, care roles, or other relevant experience are welcome.
Key Requirements:
* Must have own car for travel to school
* Caring, patient, and willing to assist with personal care
* Experience or confidence in dealing with behavioural challenges
* Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
* Strong communication skills and adaptable to different situations
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in classroom activities and small group work
* Assist pupils with SEN in learning, engagement, and social development
* Support with personal care and manage challenging behaviour where required
* Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Adapt learning materials and provide 1:1 or group support as needed
