Business Development Manager (BDM)
Location: Billericay, Essex
Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + commission
We are working with a well-established and growing business based in Billericay, Essex, who have built a strong reputation over the past decade and are now looking to expand further. As part of this growth, they are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and help strengthen their already successful operation.
This is a strategic sales role focused on identifying, developing, and securing new B2B accounts, while embedding those clients into a well-established service offering. You will play a key role in representing the company, acting as the face of the business when engaging with prospects and clients.
The Role*Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities within the B2B services sector
*Build strong relationships with high-quality clients through a consultative sales approach
*Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and onboarding new accounts
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of new clients into the business
*Represent the company professionally when meeting prospects and clients
*Develop a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets
About You*Proven experience in B2B consultative sales
*Ideally from a services-based background rather than product sales
*Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to win new business
*Comfortable managing your own pipeline and working autonomously
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills
*Professional, credible, and confident when representing the business externally
What’s on Offer*Up to £40,000 basic salary + commission
*Predominantly office-based in Billericay, with travel to meet clients and prospects
*Support from an established management and operational team
