KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant - B38
Start Date: April 2026

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in B38, starting in April 2026.
This role will involve supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 who require additional support with their learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide tailored support, helping pupils to access the curriculum and make progress.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 or small group SEN support within KS2
* Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and emotional development
* Assisting the class teacher with adapted learning activities
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
* Helping create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
* Be patient, caring and adaptable
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
* Be committed to supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing
This is a full-time role starting in April 2026 and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment.
