Full time (Monday – Thursday 17:00 – 05:00)
£14.00 per hour + shift allowance after 00:00 !
Temporary to Permanent (After 12 successful weeks)
ACS Staffing Solutions are currently looking for a General Operative to work within a production environment. Our client has over 50 years of manufacturing experience in fabricated metal products. They provide goods to a variety of industries including automotive, agriculture, bus, yellow truck goods, and general engineering industries.
This role involves general metalworking duties and may include operating plant equipment. You will need to be able to work using your initiative with minimal supervision. The role is varied and busy, and you will be expected to think on your feet and be flexible.
Responsibilities of a General Operative:*Material handling
*Assembling components
*Drilling and sawing
*Preserving
*Semi-automatic brazing of assemblies
*Spot welding
*Setting and operating tapping machine
*Operating robotic welder
*Pressure testing components (both hydrostatic and air under water)
General Operative Requirements:*Ability to work unsupervised
*Self-motivated
*Good attitude
*Methodical and precise
