Job Title:
HGV Class 1 Driver – Day or Night Shifts – Slough
Got People are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Delivery Drivers to work day or night shifts for our client based in Slough.
This role offers weekday and evening shifts and would suit HGV Class 1 drivers looking for regular work or ad hoc bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
Completing delivery routes safely and efficiently
Unloading the vehicle when required
Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
Providing good customer service during deliveries
Driver Requirements
Minimum 24 months recent UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) driving experience
Valid UK Driving Licence (Cat CE)
Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Ability to unload the vehicle and complete manual handling when required
Good customer service skills as this is a customer-facing role
No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
Must have PPE including Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
Reliable, flexible and safety focused
Pay and Benefits
Pay Rate from £20.00 per hour PAYE or £24.00 per hour Umbrella
Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed
Free on-site parking
