Finance Business Partner - Hybrid - Extensive benefits
Are you a qualified accountant looking to step into a truly commercial, people-focused finance role where you’ll shape decision-making, modernise reporting and directly influence business performance? We are partnering with a well-established, asset-backed organisation operating at significant scale, in recruiting a newly created Finance Business Partner Role.
The Role
As Finance Business Partner , you’ll play a crucial role in shaping how the organisation understands and manages its cost base, with particular focus on payroll, headcount deployment and overhead expenditure.
You will:
*Own the monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting for overheads, including people-costs, payroll-related items and group-wide support costs.
*Partner directly with senior operational leaders, providing scenario modelling, insight and recommendations that influence workforce planning and cost efficiency.
*Improve and rebuild existing reporting tools and Excel models to create clearer, more intuitive outputs that drive better decision-making.
*Lead the annual overheads budget cycle and support continuous improvement across finance.
*Join a collaborative, social and forward-thinking finance team that values innovation, data literacy and development.
This is a visible, business-facing role with real opportunity to "put your own stamp" on processes, models and reporting approaches.
The Person
You will be a great fit if you have:
*A full professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
*Solid post-qualification experience in management accounting, business partnering or audit.
*Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into clear, compelling insight.
*The communication skills and confidence to work with senior non-finance stakeholders, manage competing priorities and challenge constructively where needed.
*Strong Excel capability, with an appetite to improve modelling and reporting tools.
*Genuine interest in developing skills in Power BI, SQL and modern reporting technologies.
*A proactive, sociable and collaborative approach
*Candidates coming from industry or practice are encouraged to apply.
