Job Title: Private Client Tax Manager
Location: City of London - hybrid working available!
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits package!

The role:
This role is intended to strengthen the existing private client team. You will have your own portfolio of clients where the individual will work direct on those clients with the relevant client partners. These will be the more complex cases for those partners and will involve dealing with both compliance maters on those clients and any advisory matters arising as well as looking for advisory opportunity on those cases. Expect the following:
*This role is hands on and the individual will be preparing many of the returns on their portfolio
*Providing technical assistance to junior members and review of their work where appropriate.
*There is no staff management aspect to the role.
*There may be opportunities from time to time to assist more senior members of the team with advisory projects
The Individual:
*Self-starter with an enquiring mind, and willingness to both explore technical matters and look for opportunities on the portf
*Good technical knowledge - CTA preferable but not essential as exam success is useful but practical skill and knowledge are more important.
*The client base is a combination of business owners and high net worth individuals. Therefore, expertise in private client OMB (shareholder and employment tax issues) is essential.
*UK trust experience would also be very useful.
*An understanding of accounts will be very useful.
*Other areas that are useful but are not essential, would be an understanding of international issues (residence, domicile and the new regime).
