Position: Quality Assurance & ISO Systems Lead
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience
A growing engineering and manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to support the development and implementation of quality and environmental management systems across the wider organisation.
This position will play a key role in rolling out ISO standards across multiple divisions of the group. The organisation operates within fabrication and manufacturing environments, and the successful candidate will help ensure that robust quality procedures, compliance systems, and operational standards are implemented and maintained across the business.
The role would suit an individual with strong experience in Quality Assurance, ISO implementation, and manufacturing environments who is comfortable working across different teams and sites to drive continuous improvement.
Job Overview
*Lead the implementation and rollout of ISO management systems across the wider group
*Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of quality management systems
*Assist with the implementation and ongoing compliance of ISO standards including ISO 14001
*Work closely with operational teams across fabrication and manufacturing environments
*Develop and maintain quality procedures, documentation, and internal processes
*Conduct internal audits and ensure standards are maintained across departments
*Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
*Provide guidance and support to management and production teams regarding quality and compliance requirements
*Ensure best practices are followed across quality assurance and environmental standards
Requirements
*Proven experience within Quality Assurance in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
*Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems
*Experience supporting or leading ISO implementation and compliance projects
*Understanding of environmental management systems such as ISO 14001
*Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards across operations
*Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
