Job Description:
Job Title: Packaging Production Operative
Location: Basildon, SS14
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary role
HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for Production Operatives to work in a well-established packaging manufacturer based in Basildon SS14 area.
Role Responsibilities
*Operate and monitor production line machinery.
*Assist in the transition of production processes (e.g., moving from metal to paper caps).
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
*Respond promptly to operational signals, including factory bell alerts for returning to the production line after breaks.
*Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
*Adhere to all health & safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
*Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
*Previous factory or production experience is beneficial but not essential.
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Uniform & PPE
*Trousers, Plain T-shirt, and closed in non-slip safety shoes are required.
