Business Development Executive
An exciting opportunity to join a global, tech-led organisation at the forefront of growth and innovation. We’re seeking a driven, proactive Lead Business Development Executive to play a key role in the front end of the mergers and acquisitions process, helping identify and develop high-value acquisition opportunities.
The Role:
*Identify and engage UK-based companies aligned with the acquisition strategy
*Proactively grow the database through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social media outreach
*Use CRM and marketing data to build and nurture strong client relationships
*Attend trade shows and industry events to expand market presence
*Conduct cold calls and face-to-face meetings with senior stakeholders
*Lead first-line conversations with target businesses, converting leads into actionable opportunities
About You:
*Proven experience in a client-facing role within financial services and/or the mergers and acquisitions space
*Highly proactive, analytical, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills
*Degree-qualified (Bachelor’s or Master’s), ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting
*Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
