Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £43,196 + Overtime + Callout
Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm
A well-established manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working on a variety of production equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planned and reactive maintenance across site

* Fault finding and breakdown repairs on production machinery

* Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, belts and bearings

* Maintenance of motors, pumps, conveyors and milling machines

* Supporting equipment with PLC-controlled systems and control panels

* Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability of machinery

Requirements * Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)

* Strong mechanical maintenance background

* Experience working with manufacturing or production equipment

* Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and motors

* Ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
