PSHE Teacher - Full Time Wandsworth, South West London
Full-time | Permanent | September Start (or sooner)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school that specialises in working with young people aged 11-19 with special educational needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering a practical, engaging and supportive Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) curriculum that helps students develop the confidence, life skills and emotional awareness they need for adulthood.
The RoleAs the PSHE Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to students with additional learning needs

*Teach key topics including wellbeing, relationships, health, independence, and preparing for adulthood

*Adapt lessons to support students with moderate learning difficulties, autism and communication needs

*Create a safe, inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing important life topics

*Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider support team

*Support students in developing confidence, social skills and independence

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:
*A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred) or experienced educator

*Passionate about PSHE, wellbeing and personal development

*Patient, empathetic and committed to supporting students with additional needs

*Able to deliver creative and accessible lessons

*A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students and staff

ExperienceExperience working in SEN or alternative provision is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants from a range of teaching backgrounds who are enthusiastic about adapting their teaching to support all learners.
