Job Description:
SEND Teaching Assistant - Audenshaw/Droylsden
Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEND unit within a Primary School in the Audenshaw/Droylsden area.
This full-time role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them to access learning and develop socially and emotionally within a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role:*Supporting pupils within a specialist SEND unit
*Working with children who may have autism, learning difficulties, or additional behavioural needs
*Providing 1:1 and small group support
*Assisting the class teacher in delivering adapted learning activities
*Promoting a safe, supportive and inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate:*Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
*Experience supporting children with SEND
*Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Passion for supporting children with additional needs
