Description
*Oversee and lead an established payroll function.
*Manage any system or process improvement.
*Strategic involvement and effective decision making that promotes continuous improvement.
*Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures.
*Implement future benefits schemes
*Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related activities.
*Handle payroll reporting, including tax filings and statutory requirements.
*Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries professionally.
*Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes impacting payroll.
*Provide leadership and development opportunities for the payroll team.
Profile
A successful Head of Payroll should have:
*Proven experience in Head of Payroll, Senior Payroll or Payroll Manager position
*Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland Payroll Regulations
*Passion for continuous improvement and people management
*Proficiency in payroll software and relevant systems.
*Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
*Enjoys working in a fast paced working environment
*Strong communication skills
*Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum.
*Hybrid working (3 days onsite/2 days at home)
