Job Description:
Cobalt is partnering with a forward-thinking, UK owned property company who is seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to work within a commercial park in Reading.
Combining sustainability with sleek design, this development is undergoing further investment to ensure it retains it’s position as a premier workplace destination for it’s customers, giving you strong exposure to CAPEX works alongside high-end occupier engagement strategies.
Additionally, you’ll benefit from working within one of the UK’s leading real estate brands, elevating your CV even further as you progress within the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Manage on site contractors and ensure works are carried out in line with company standards and legislation.
*Conduct building inspections whilst instructing contractors to conduct remedial works where necessary.
*Checking in with tenants on a regular basis to ensure their queries are met accordingly.
*Work alongside the Facilities Manager to set and manage service charge budgets.
*Overseeing health and safety compliance across the site at all times.
*Drive proactive feedback from the site between leaseholders/tenants to ensure an up-to-date record is held at all times.
As the successful applicant, you’ll have a track record in supporting the management of a commercial or industrial office development previously, and be able to demonstrate the ability to deputise at the Building Management level where necessary.
An IOSH qualification is mandatory, whilst an IWFM membership or qualification would be viewed favorably.
Further to this, you’ll thrive in a customer-facing environment and display the ability to tailor your communication style to a variety of stakeholder.
