Are you a compassionate and dedicated care professional looking to make a real difference in a quiet coastal setting? We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our small, specialist care home in Swanage, supporting adults with acquired brain injury and/or learning disabilities.
About the HomeOur care home is situated in a peaceful coastal location in Swanage, with excellent access to local amenities and health services. The home is registered for 4 residents and currently has two vacant beds, offering the opportunity to provide truly personalised care in a small, friendly environment.
We are proud of our good CQC rating, reflecting our commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and resident wellbeing.
Who We SupportWe provide care for adults with:
*Learning disabilities
*Acquired brain injury
Our approach is person-centred, tailoring support to each individual’s needs, abilities, and personal goals. We focus on:

*Enhancing quality of life
*Ensuring safety and clinical oversight where needed
The RoleAs a Care Assistant, you will:
*Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
*Encourage social engagement, independence, and skill development
*Follow individualised care plans and report any changes in needs or wellbeing
*Work closely with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
*Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment
About You*Experience in health or social care preferred but not essential
*Compassionate, reliable, and patient
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Passionate about improving quality of life for people with complex needs
*Willingness to learn and follow best practice care standards
