Job Description:
Our client is looking for: A motivated Sales Coordinator to join their UK Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with previous sales administration or sales support experience who is interested in developing a career in sales within a commercial, fast-paced environment. The role offers a strong foundation for progression within a sales career.


Role Overview:
The Sales Coordinator will act as a central point of contact for both customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of sales activities, accurate data management, and timely support throughout key selling periods. This position provides exposure to the full sales process and customer relationship management, making it an excellent stepping stone into a broader commercial role.


Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and raise customer quotations.
Manage customer set-up forms, including product data, images, and copy, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate sample management: ordering, administration, checking, packing, and dispatch of customer sample requests.
Liaise proactively with customers to resolve queries and request missing information, supporting sales activity.
Maintain, update, and analyse sales and customer records to support the sales team.
Work closely with Marketing to ensure accurate and timely data transfer across internal platforms.
Support sales meetings, presentations, and product launches as required.
Assist the sales team with ad-hoc projects and initiatives that support revenue growth.

Person / Experience Required:
Previous experience in Sales Administration or Sales Support, ideally within consumer goods.
Confident using Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
Demonstrated interest in sales and developing a commercial career.
Behavioural Capabilities:
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and keen to learn about products and the sales process.
Strong team player with a high level of dedication.
Effective communication of customer feedback and insights to internal teams.
Builds and maintains positive customer relationships.
