Job Description:
BAE Systems | Type 26 Frigates | Glasgow We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team building the Royal Navy’s next-generation Type 26 Frigates at BAE Systems’ Govan & Scotstoun shipyards.
A great opportunity to work on one of the UK’s most exciting engineering programme.
?? What You’ll Need: ? NVQ Level 3 or SVQ Level 3 in a mechanical discipline
? OR a time-served apprenticeship with trade papers
? Strong mechanical fitting experience (marine or industrial)
? Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
? Experience installing, aligning and maintaining mechanical systems
?? PAYE Rates: Inclusive of Holiday Local:
* £23.02/hr Standard
* £30.62/hr Nights/Weekends
* Up to £43.54/hr OT
Non-Local:
* £32.19/hr Standard
* £39.78/hr Nights/Weekends
* Up to £43.54/hr OT
