We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.



This role involves maintaining a wide range of machinery, while also supporting the build of bespoke welding machines and site improvement projects.

Job Description



*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
*Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines
*Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines
*Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
*Identifying improvements to machinery and processes
*Working closely with the maintenance and production teams

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications



*Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
*Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
*Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
*A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
*Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
