Assistant Management Accountant
We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a fast-growing technology company based in Chigwell entering an exciting new phase. This is an excellent role for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their experience within a supportive and growing finance team.
The role will support the month-end process and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the department.
This position offers a hybrid working pattern, with 4 days per week onsite at their offices in Chigwell.
Responsibilities:
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
*Support the preparation of profit and loss reports
*Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and assist with cash flow analysis
*Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
*Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules
*Present financial information clearly and concisely for non-financial stakeholders
*Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
*Support process improvements and help implement new procedures
*Assist with audit preparation and queries
What We’re Looking For:
*Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or equivalent
*Experience gained in a similar role such as Assistant Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant
*An interest in developing skills around process improvements
*Strong Excel and systems skills
*Ability to commute to Chigwell 4 days per week
*A proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to learn
