About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable, caring, and motivated individual to join our team as a Minibus Driver with additional responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant during the school day. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is a confident driver, and would like to support students’ learning and wellbeing in a school environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMinibus Driver (AM & PM Duties)*Safely transport students to and from school following established routes and schedules.
*Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and appropriate behaviour of students during journeys.
*Carry out basic safety checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
*Maintain accurate records of journeys and adhere to school safeguarding policies.
Teaching Assistant (Within the School Day)*Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
*Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students as needed.
*Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
*Help with classroom organisation, resources, and general supervision.
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
*Holds a clean, valid UK driving licence (D1 category desirable).
*Has experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
*Is patient, dependable, and committed to student safety and wellbeing.
*Can follow instructions, use initiative, and work well as part of a team.
*Is willing to undertake training, including safeguarding and first aid.
