Job Title: Brickwork Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Centre based

Salary: up to £40,000 - inclusive of location uplift (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:*Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ in Bricklaying.
*Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Brickwork; Plastering; Painting and Decorating; Electrics).
*Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
*Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
*Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Duties:*Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Multi Skilled Construction (e.g. Bricklaying / Painting and Decorating / Plumbing / Carpentry etc.), within a classroom-based environment.
*Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
*Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
*Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
*Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.

*Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
*Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
