We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Virtualisation) to design, build, and manage virtualisation platforms that ensure resilience, security, and scalability for critical business services.

What You’ll Do
*Engineer, operate, and continuously improve virtualisation platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V).
*Manage platform lifecycle: patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and hardware refreshes.
*Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness.
*Automate infrastructure provisioning and standardise virtualisation builds.
*Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
*Maintain compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams across storage, networking, OS, cloud, and applications.


What We’re Looking For


Essential Skills & Experience:
*Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualisation platforms(VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter or Hyper-V).
*Background in infrastructure engineering or platform operations in enterprise environments.
*Expertise in platform upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
*Solid understanding of server hardware, storage integration, and enterprise networking.
*Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change).


Desirable Skills:
*Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
*Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure as Code.
*Familiarity with hybrid cloud integration and container workloads.
*Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
