JOB DETAILS
*PAY RATE: £500 -£550 day rate
*WORK TYPE: Temporary
*WORK PATTERN: Full Time
*LOCATION: West Midlands

JOB SUMMARY
As Principal Service Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building a strong, relationship-based, locality-driven model of support for children, young people, and families. You will strengthen and embed our Family Safeguarding model, improve outcomes through joined-up pathways, and provide confident senior oversight of practice, both in hours and as part of the out-of-hours leadership rota.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
*Leading the integration of Family Help, Family Safeguarding, and Adolescent Safeguarding services
*Transitioning to a locality-based model with accessible, place-based support
*Championing high-quality, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice
*Driving performance, quality assurance, and inspection readiness
*Building strong partnerships with Early Help, Police, Health, Education, and community services

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
*Significant leadership experience in children’s social care
*Strong expertise in safeguarding and risk management
*A passion for early intervention and relational practice
*Commitment to innovation, transformation, and workforce stability
*Confidence to make complex decisions, including out-of-hours leadership
