Job Description:
Olive Branch Recruitment are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join a school based in East London who support pupils access education through tackling occupational deprivation and addressing sensory needs.
You will provide highly specialised Occupation Therapy assessment by identifying appropriate assessment tools that will support the school to identify and understand the needs of pupils.
Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

*Resilient and robust, role modelling outstanding professionalism.
*Hold HCPC registration with a recognised Occupational Therapy degree qualification and further professional development accreditations.
*Substantial demonstrable experience in successfully working with vulnerable young people, those with complex mental health needs and/or those with challenging behaviours.
*The ability to plan and coordinate sessions, proficient with communication and supporting sensory progress for pupils through universal and intensive therapeutic offers.
*Proficient digital skills, including a good understanding of IT systems and the ability to use them effectively.
*Creative and innovative, whilst maintaining principles of clinical governance.
*Organised with attention to detail.
*Proactive and innovative, collaborating with team members in other disciplines, whilst also with the ability to work flexibly and independently.
