SEND Teaching Assistant
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in both mainstream and specialist primary schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for individuals who have experience supporting children with additional needs through professional work, personal experience, or a background in care. If you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or another relevant transferable qualification, and are passionate about helping children reach their full potential, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate
*Has experience supporting children with SEND, either professionally or personally
*Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or another relevant transferable qualification
*Is patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
Job Requirements
*Experience working with pupils with SEND (professional or personal experience considered)
*Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or another relevant qualification
*Level 2 English (spoken and written)
*Fluent English is essential
*Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
