Location: Staffordshire (Newton Solney area, Burton-on-Trent)
Hours: Term time only
*Full-time: 5 days per week

*Part-time: 2, 3 or 4 days per week

*Hours: 8:15am - 4:15pm

About the SchoolThis SEN School specialises in supporting young people with autism, speech and language disorders, and moderate to severe learning difficulties, including associated behavioural needs. The school provides person-centred care and education, helping students develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.
The school offers excellent facilities, including access to outdoor learning opportunities, and is supported by a dedicated, experienced staff team committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
The RoleWe are seeking caring, resilient, and motivated Teaching Assistants to support the smooth running of the school day. Responsibilities include:
*Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and emotional wellbeing

*Monitoring and evaluating progress, encouraging and celebrating personal achievements

*Providing direct teaching support when required

*Supporting pupils during challenging situations using positive behaviour strategies

*Assisting with personal care where required

*Promoting a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For*A passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant

*A relevant qualification in teaching and learning

*Experience working with SLD is preferred / desirable

*A calm, patient, and resilient approach

*A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
