Job Title: Void Cleaner
Location: North London
Salary: £25,000 per year

About the Role
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Void Cleaner on behalf of a respected Housing Association client covering North London. This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for preparing empty (void) properties to a high standard before new tenants move in.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning and ensuring homes are ready, safe, and welcoming for new residents.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out deep cleaning of void properties to ensure they meet lettable standards.
*Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, hallways, and communal spaces within empty properties.
*Remove rubbish and leftover items where required to prepare properties for re-letting.
*Carry out tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
*Clean internal windows, cupboards, appliances, and fixtures where required.
*Work alongside maintenance teams to ensure properties are fully prepared for new tenants.
*Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues identified during cleaning.
*Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines.
*Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is used safely and effectively.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous cleaning experience, ideally within housing, property, or void environments.
*Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple properties.
*Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
*Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
*Understanding of health and safety practices when using cleaning products and equipment.
*Ability to travel across North London as required, therefore being able to drive is essential.
