The Role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and ensuring payments are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

*Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
*Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
*Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
*Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
*Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties when required


About You

*Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role
*Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
*Confident working with finance systems and Microsoft Excel
*Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
*A proactive and team-focused approach

What’s on Offer

*Salary of £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience
