Job Description:
Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based in the outskirts of Ipswich, who are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain a deeper understanding of road freight & customs services to effectively position.
*Consistently meet and exceed new business job numbers and activity targets.
*Provide regular updates and performance reports to the management team, highlighting wins, pipeline status, and market insights.
*Proactively identify, target, and secure new road freight customers to expand the client base and revenue streams.
*Organise and attend meetings with prospective clients and internal stakeholders to align on strategy and progress.
*Strategically plan and execute personal sales activity through a mix of outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity, leads, and opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Proven record in B2B sales, ideally within the freight forwarding or logistics sector.
*Initiative-taking, target-driven, and resilient in a competitive environment.
*Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*A valid, clean driving license is necessary to navigate this exciting role!
