Hays are pleased to partner with a range of well-established primary schools across the Rugby area. Many schools in Rugby are currently looking for confident and adaptable KS2 supply teachers who can provide consistent, effective classroom cover across Years 3-6. Roles range from short-notice daily supply to longer-term placements, with flexibility to suit your availability.
Your new role
*Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that maintain continuity of learning across KS2 classes.
*Following school policies and using provided planning where available, while adapting your approach to meet the needs of different year groups.
*Supporting pupils with varied abilities, ensuring lessons remain purposeful and inclusive.
*Managing behaviour positively and maintaining a calm, productive classroom environment.
*Demonstrating professionalism, reliability and a proactive attitude as part of the wider school community.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching within KS2, with the confidence to step into different year groups as required.
*Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
*Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching with limited preparation time.
*Clear communication skills and a flexible, collaborative approach.
