Project Engineer – After-Sales Service
Hertfordshire | Office-Based
One of my long-standing clients is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the servicing side of their business. Based at their offices in Hertfordshire, this role will be responsible for managing and coordinating after-sales service projects and spares-related activities from initial enquiry through to completion and financial close-out.
The position sits at the centre of service delivery, working closely with engineering, field service, spares, procurement and management teams. The role has a strong focus on commercial control, KPI monitoring and continuous improvement.
Occasional support to field service coordination may be required; however, this is not a scheduling-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
*Appraise and coordinate after-sales service project and spares enquiries
*Prepare, develop and progress quotations and proposals
*Coordinate service projects from order through to completion and invoicing
*Support the development of new spares and after-sales service offerings
*Monitor and report on service and spares KPIs and operational performance
*Identify risks, trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
*Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure efficient project delivery
