Job Description:
Customer Account Administrator
Location: Doncaster (Office-Based)
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 + bonus
Hours: Full-time, permanent
We’re working with a well-established business services company in Doncaster looking to recruit a Customer Account Administrator to join their growing, customer-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations, adding real value to customers, and keeping everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Customer Account Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of business customers. Acting as the key link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, your role is all about service, coordination, and problem-solving. You’ll ensure customers receive a seamless, responsive service, even when priorities change at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as first-line contact for customer enquiries, managing issues through to resolution where appropriate
*Build strong relationships with a dedicated portfolio of B2B customers, providing a true account-managed service
*Coordinate bookings and day-to-day requirements, including urgent and reactive requests
*Liaise closely with suppliers and internal account managers to manage ETAs, availability, and service delivery
*Keep internal systems updated with accurate customer and service information
*Prioritise a high-volume inbox, assessing what needs immediate action versus what can be scheduled
*Proactively add value for customers through efficient coordination and clear communication
*Work under pressure in a role where priorities can change quickly
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in customer service, account administration, or coordination (B2B preferred)
*Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-moving environment
*Confident communicator who enjoys problem-solving and customer interaction
*Comfortable acting as the ’middle person’ between customers, suppliers, and internal teams
*Detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure
*Confident using CRM systems and internal software
This is a service-led role offering long-term stability, variety, and the chance to truly make an impact for customers who rely on you to keep their operations running smoothly.
If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same and customer service genuinely comes first, this could be a great next step.
