Location: Chesterfield
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for a Customer Operations Manager to join their commercial team.
This role plays a key part in supporting continued growth by delivering exceptional customer service, strengthening relationships with existing contractor accounts, and improving customer engagement across the business. You will also lead and support the internal sales order fulfilment team while driving improvements in CRM systems, processes and customer insights.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Operations Manager
*Build and develop long-term relationships with existing contractor and customer accounts
*Reconnect with inactive customers to re-engage and grow account value
*Manage and support the sales order fulfilment team to ensure high service standards
*Gather and share customer insights and market intelligence to support sales and marketing activity
*Drive improvements in CRM data quality and encourage accurate data capture across the business
*Support the development and enhancement of CRM systems to improve sales effectiveness
*Review and improve training follow-up processes for contractor product and installation courses
Skills & Experience
*Strong commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset
*Proven experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
*Experience leading or supporting internal sales or customer service teams
*Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills
*Process-driven with the ability to identify improvements and implement change
*Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
