Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established, choice employer in the Nottinghamshire region as they look to bring on board an experienced Assistant Accountant initially on a 6-9 month contract.

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you’ll focus on IFRS 16 accounting standards across all subsidiaries. This role has been created following recent acquisitions, integrations, and updated accounting requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant:
*Complete month-end processes within deadlines
*Maintain global property databases
*Analyse prepayments and accruals against budget
*Identify potential errors and create monthly reports aligned to accounting standards
*Support ad-hoc projects and reporting across multiple departments
*Work with external consultants on system implementation and improvements
What we’re looking for:
*At least 6-12 months experience in a similar role
*Hardworking, determined, and keen to learn
*Intermediate Excel skills with confidence in formulas
